Just one word.... Wow

So I had to wait a week for the episode to sink in....

To start, we all knew that Bart was going to die. So I'm glad they got that right over with. I think we finally saw the "real" Chuck. He comes with so much baggage, but he's actually a good person. Even though he was so mad at Lily, he decided to burn the information. And how emotional was the:

"We're Chuck and Blair. Blair and Chuck. The worst thing you've ever done, the darkest thought you've ever had, I will stand by you through anything because I love you." I bet Chuck comes back next year with even more models and partying even harder until Blair calms him down again!

Anyway, moving on to happier and less traumatic things. I cannot stand S's man. He is ugly, annoying, and maybe not even straight. I mean a trip to South America? For S? S is so much more of a Europe girl! I really hope that she doesn't sleep with him. Dan's gotta do something about it!

Lastly, I'm kind of sick of this whole Lilly/Dan's Dad thing. How many times are they going to show them "almost" get together! The whole thing is starting to get ridiculous.

Anyway, Merry Christmas to everyone. I'm off to New York City for the Holiday's and I'll be sure to update you on my travels and drama (although probably not as interesting as gossip girl). Maybe I'll even "spot" some of you! Feel free to email :)

I'm back...

I'm back... who missed me? :)

So I cannot stand S's new romance. Her new man is completely ugly and annoying. I think the writers really want us to root for D, and how can we not now. This new artist is no comparison to our Lonely Boy. And how cute and endearing was it when D said, "Well I always assumed that I would, uh, you know again, sooner or later. Maybe assume is a strong word, hope is more accurate."

"Spotted: N swapping spit with a girl from an outer borough. Ew. Ew. Ew." So I am so glad that N chose V over J. Little J is just getting completely annoying. She's acting like a spoiled brat. How could she give that dress to her lifelong friend? I am glad to see that she will be returning to school! I am getting tired of this whole "on her own" theme! However, I was a fan of her model friend... who did look good without her shirt...

Lastly, my favorite quote of the week...
A: Lexie likes to sleep with guys on the first date. She claims it’s a political statement against male dominated sexual hypocrisy, or something.
S: Can’t she just vote?

Sorry about the hiatus

Sorry everyone. I was traveling for a few weeks and didn't have time to post. In fact, I just finished watching the last two episodes tonight! Thanks fans for all the emails. I'm glad you missed my blog. You know, absence does make the heart grow fonder :)

But not to worry, I'll be returning to posting next week. From the previews, it looks like there will be some serious excitement! Will B and Chuck finally sleep together?

I went to buy Christmas presents today.... everyone is getting an argyle sweater!

Trade school?

Let me first say, what the heck was little J wearing in her hair? It looked like a sideways Yamica. Fashion took a big tumble in this episode. That dress of the girl B was babysitting was terrible. Chuck's plaid suit was hideous.

So lets get into all the screwy relationships that are going on:

1) S and Aaron - let me tell you, from personal experience, if you get caught with multiple girls, a line like "the fact is either you feel something or you don't... i haven't been able to stop thinking about you." will NOT work. What was he, thinking about her when he was with the two other girls. I mean come on!

2) J and N - this is just too much. So between beautiful and classy B, and real and sexy V, and the hot sexpot older woman, N decides on the 15 year old sister of his new BFF. This is just ridiculous. What's next? D dating Erick? I'm not a fan at all of JeNate.

Lastly, what kind of big brother is Dan? If my friend decided it was ok to start making out with my little sister, I would punch him in the face and then tell him to pack his bags. (Again, from personal experience, i won't say if i was the puncher or the punchee).

And how is little J running away? Is she going to let that guy take naked pictures of her to survive. It seems like naughty pictures is the currency in her new set of friends...

J and N?

Wow, so I'm really liking the shift away from D and S's romance. But J and N? Looks like N is going from super old, to super young. That's just crazy. I HATE little J's new look. She looks like a trashy Avril Levene. How cheesy was the N to the rescue scene. Perhaps N does want to have a bromance with D, but since D likes girls, N has to go for all of D's friends. Who's next? D's mom?

On another note, interesting ending to the Chuck / B romance. I think Chuck might actually care for her. I'm sure this will be revisited in future episodes.

If the show couldn't get more unrealistic, Little J will have a fashion line. What's next, D getting a book deal?

I forgot to put on underwear!

Wow, so a big turn of events this week. They really turned up the heat! I think GG is going more Cruel Intentions and less Saved by the Bell! The last scene was almost too hot for television! How Chuck turned down B, when she had the sexiest outfit (gotta love the lace stockings), I'll never know. I also loved S's party "suit"... somehow, I don't think Bart intended her to wear it without a shirt!

You gotta love the budding bromance between N and D. What's next? V and S becoming friends?... probably.

I think we are slowly seeing the softer side of Chuck. First, we find out about his dead mother, and then we find out that all his dad's money is not without abuse. I'm starting to understand where he is coming from... and where he might be going...

Lastly, I don't understand the Eric character. TV basically changed the older, popular college athlete Erik to the younger, gay, scrawny Eric. I think the book Erik would be a very interesting guy for B...

What's mine is yours?

So we'll lead off with B and S finally resolving their feud. I think they could have dragged it out a few weeks more, but I'm happy to see them back together. That catfight outside the Dean's house was the highlight of the episode. The only thing that would have made it better would have been a scandalous kiss! Suggestion to the WB, working a B / S kiss into a episode will surely increase ratings!

On another note, we all know that everyone will get into Yale next year so that they can continue the show. For my readers who have just started the college application process, let me tell you that GG is not a great representation of how to get into Yale. If you have questions on the differneces, email me :)

I'm excited about this new N and D friendship. I have a feeling that D will share what he learned about Chuck's mom with N. Maybe D will teach N how to read? The mood swings of these characters is getting ridiculous. S can go from being a complete b*tch to being B's best friend again. Makes no sense.

On the clothes - Little J's black dress design was horrible. I don't know why everyone seemed so impressed by it. Plus the shoes Lilly had on were fine. S looked hot in her Dean's house dress and B is getting preppier by the episode! I'm liking....

Next week, Chuck is going to "seduce" V for B. We'll see how that goes. Talk to you then.

Serena Van Der TreeSon?

I know that's a lame title! Apologies for the delay in posting. I know that there are many of you who refresh this webpage every day at school/work awaiting Gossip Guy's next post :)

So if you couldn't tell from my title, my favorite line.... "Charlie Trout." We learned so much more about Chuck this week and I'm starting to understand him... and even feel bad for him. I'm sure he'll do something to D or B next week to make me go back to thinking he's evil!

As Chuck increases on my liability list, S continues to plummet. She's just mean. B is much better off without her. I have to say I am getting a bit tired of the whole, B hates S, S hates B, S loves B, B loves S, etc. I think the next chapter will have B finally let her guard down to Chuck and S coming along at sleeping with Chuck just to get back at B (or at least maybe that's what I would do).

Lastly, I loved J's dress design. It makes the rest of Eleanor's designs, which must be targeting women over 50.

I don't know what I'll do tonight with no new episode. I guess I'll just have to watch repeats and dream about next week's college trip...

The night before Christmas

I have to say, every Sunday night I feel like its Christmas Eve. Will D and C becomes friends? On a scale of 1-10, how bitchy will S become? I think she's a 6 now! Will little J get back at the "mean girls" yet? Will V ever stop being so damn annoying?

After long consideration, I want to announce that I am currently on Team Dan. However, I reserve the right to change as events unfold. If S keeps wearing those short skirts... she might win me over!

"The Ex-Files"

You gotta love the new uniforms. I think Constance has really relaxed its policy on the girls uniforms... B in ruffles, S in a Tshirt. And of course C has to spice it up with a vest or a stripped yellow shirt. And by the way, Little J has certainly grown up over the summer, she may be my new favorite Hottie.

I know I'm supposed to want to see B and D together, just like I can't wait until C and B finally patch up their squabble, but I'm really happy to see D with a new love interest (this from the guy who LOVED it when Georgina finally kissed Lonely Boy). Too bad this "Hannah Montana" turned out to be sent by Chuck..... mother chucker...

So I hope I'm wrong, but I'm disappointed at the lack of new plots. Are we going to have another half a season of B and S fighting. I mean that was so last season and can we PLEASE resolve the Dan's Dad and S's Mom situation. I mean enough is enough!
